Fallacy of Ambiguity/Presumption
A family of informal fallacies clustered around a lack of clarity.
Fallacies of Ambiguity/Presumption include:
- Amphiboly
- Equivocation
- Begging the Question
- False Dichotomy
- Composition
- Division
In each of these cases there is an intentional, or unintentional, confusion which causes a weak inference between premise(s)
and conclusion.
See fallacy.
