Immutability
In the Philosophy of Religion the term ‘immutable’
describes the property of God’s existence whereby all
of God’s metaphysical attributes are unchangeable.
For example, if God is omniscient, then the
immutability of God would say that whatever knowledge God has cannot be increased or diminished.
If God is immutable, then God is unchangeable in essence.
