Truth

The truth is however the world turns out to be; whatever is the case; the universe.

In Logic, every statement can be said to have a truth-value of either true or false. The truth-value of a statement depends on whether or not the statement accurately describes the world (i.e., whether or not it is true).

Thus, it should be clear that 'true' is an adjective describing statements, ideas, or propositions, while 'truth' is the noun that refers to whatever is the case.
