Abu I-Walid Muhammad Ibn ‘Ahmad Ibn Rushd was a Medieval Islamic philosopher heavily influenced by
Aristotle. Founder of the Medieval school of thought
called Averroism which formed the foundation of Scholasticism in Western
Medieval thought.
