Moral Absolutism
In Ethical Theory, Absolutism is one of two
objectivist theories (Objectivism being the branch of
Non-Normative Ethics
which purports to describe the nature of moral systems) which holds that at least one moral principle
objectively exists and is not over ridable by any other existing moral principle.
In other words, whatever moral principle exists, it is absolutely binding on moral agents.
